Random Photos from a Walk on the Beach

I really am lucky to live in such a beautiful place. After getting my FitBit a month ago I have been trying hard to get in my 10,000 steps a day. A good way to do that is to take a walk during my lunch break – here are some photos I snapped this week.

The weather has been totally bizarre the past couple days, lucky the rain/snow held off during my walks – but just barley. One second it’s snowing – the next it’s sunny and then raining, sun, snow, etc. All in a matter of a couple hours! I even saw a snowbow.

Also, in case anyone has noticed my blog does have a new look (for better or worse, I am not sure). One day last week I had to move my websites to a new web host. If you see anything funky or broken with my blog feel free to leave me a comment and let me know. I would really appreciate it. Thanks. :)

Speaking of free product coupons – don’t forget to use up your Dr. Oetker 50 Calorie Mousse coupons. They expire early April – I think mine were the 3rd but I can’t remember.

Mail – Lots of Free Product Coupons

It’s been a while since I posted about mail; it has been piling up on my kitchen table. There has been lots of great free product coupons lately – still haven’t figured out my best plan to use them. I sort of want to use them all in one go (with all the others I have) just for fun.

The FREE Lindt Swiss Glassic 100g Bar cards came from winning on their contest two weeks in a row. Pretty cool “coupon” – it is on a plastic card. Pretty fancy! I don’t even think this is everything I have received in the past few weeks, but it was everything I haven’t put away yet. It really has been a pretty awesome few weeks.

FREE and Very Cheap Kellogg’s Products

Last night while wandering around Wal-Mart I noticed that all the Kellogg’s products where on sale. At least all the ones I had coupons for – the coupons came from the Kellogg’s Holiday Gift Box.

I really impressed the cashier (and myself) when the total came to $1.08.

To make this even sweeter (and more chocolaty) the box of Rice Krispies had a coupon for a FREE 200g bag of SMARTIES Eggs or 203g SMARTIES bag! I hope to try the eggs. Also, when I got home last night I had some websaver coupons waiting for me that had $1.50 off Rice Krispies Squares – hopefully they are $1.67 for a bit longer. :) I still have to use my All Bran Bar coupons – all my Wal-Mart had left was the Orange Cranberry ones – YUCK! Tried the ones in the Holiday Box and I did not like them all.

Looks like I am having cereal for breakfast.
Happy Friday everyone!

Shoppers Drug Mart: FREE Tylenol & Cheap Clean & Clear Body Wash

I have been really wanting to try the new Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash since I first smelled it a couple months ago. I have had the coupons printed for a little while. Last week I heard of people getting it pretty cheap at London Drugs – they were stacking the printable with the tear pad (that I couldn’t find). I was slightly disappointed but figured another deal would come around and I didn’t have too wait long. :)

While we were in Shoppers Drug Mart last night (picking up the FREE Tylenol Ultra Relief) I found the blue Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash on clearance for $3.00! Paired up with the $2.50 printable coupon it made them an awesome deal (to me) at just $0.50 a bottle. It was only the blue kind – SPLASH Wildberry & Guava but it smells really good.

Shoppers Drug Mart: FREE Tylenol & Cheap Clean & Clear

4 x Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash – SPLASH Wildberry & Guava $3.00 – $2.50 printable = $0.50
4 x Tylenol Ultra Relief $3.99 – $4.00 printable coupon = FREE

Will be trying the body wash in the morning as my Dove one just ran out. The Dove Visible Care Body Wash that I got here is alright – the smell is okay, but I think the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash will be much better. What I really hate about the Dove is the design of the bottle, getting the last bit (fair bit) out of the bottle has been a MAJOR pain. I shouldn’t have to work to get my body wash out of the bottle. Major design flaw in the bottle.

Walmart: Cheap Pantene, Garnier Fructis and Pillsbury

Found a fantastic deal on Pantene – thanks to a heads up on the smartcanucks.ca forum. I saw someone saying they found some $2 Pantene products at Walmart so I headed to mine to check it out. I didn’t find the ones they found but I was lucky enough to find 3 different ones priced at $2 – the deal was even sweeter because they had $1.50 stickers on them – better yet, they were the larger bottles at 675ml! Score! Regular price on the bottles was $7.96!

I am now very well stocked in face cleaners and creams! When I bought the Dial lotion I totally thought it was body wash… my bad. Hope it is as nice as the St. Ives.

Wish everything was priced like this:
$1 Shoppers Drug Mart Clearance

This Shoppers Drug Mart location has been pretty awesome with clearance deals in the last couple weeks. Think I might have to stick my head in there a little more often.

I am really excited about the Neutrogena Ageless Intensives Tone Correcting Concentrated Serum Night – I was Googling it while I was shopping and the reviews are great. I have been looking for a product like this for a little while now and they very pricey. This one is normally $28ish, so for $1 (or $4 because I bought 4) – I figured I couldn’t go wrong. I already tried it last night and it felt nice, too early to tell if its working yet though. I also tried the Garnier Pure Daily Purifying Pads last night too, really liked them. They seem like they will work really well for removing make up and cleansing. Plus they were cheaper then the make up removing cloths I have been buying from Dollarama and you get more. They felt great too – made my face feel so nice and clean. With all these deals I feel like I am turning into such a face cleaning/moisturizing snob… okay, I admit it – I probably am.

London Drugs Shopping Trips – St. Ives, Prestige, Maybelline, Free Aveeno & More

Been to London Drugs twice this week. On Wednesday they had a one day only Leap Year sale – I went for the Prestige Eyeliner that was on for $2.99. I ended up getting the waterproof version for the extra 50 cents but found a couple other deals while I was there. I was able to stack the U by Kotex coupons for some more cheap feminine products. I haven’t stacked in a while with all the new rules but I checked with customer service before hand and they said they were fine

BTW – The Prestige Eyeliners are FANTASTIC – I have tried buying many other cheaper eyeliners and they just don’t compare. I have been waiting for these to go on sale. They are still on for $3.49 this week as well.

I was back at London Drugs this morning to get some of the $2.99 St. Ives lotion – I really love this stuff and have been waiting for it to go $2.99 again at Shoppers Drug Mart. Was happy to see it in the London Drugs flyer.

While I was there I noticed some more U by Kotex products on for $4.00… twice the size of the boxes I bought the other day for $3.99. Darn. I only had one stack left but was able to print a few more coupons and decided they were worth getting even without stacking. Wish I had of waited on my stacks though… all well, what do you do. I just can’t say no to these U by Kotex coupons and deals – I hope I never get another one of these coupons again – I should be well stocked for a while, more than awhile. If anyone is wondering the U by Kotex liners are awesome, the best I have ever tried but their tampons are terrible. Also decided to grab a box of O.B (they are awesome) for the free Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner – I keep missing the Living Well giveaways and really wanted to try it. I have already tried it – really like it.

Some good savings this week – but I really need to stay out of the feminine product isle – maybe I should just stay out of London Drugs.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
