Last night while wandering around Wal-Mart I noticed that all the Kellogg’s products where on sale. At least all the ones I had coupons for – the coupons came from the Kellogg’s Holiday Gift Box.

To make this even sweeter (and more chocolaty) the box of Rice Krispies had a coupon for a FREE 200g bag of SMARTIES Eggs or 203g SMARTIES bag! I hope to try the eggs. Also, when I got home last night I had some websaver coupons waiting for me that had $1.50 off Rice Krispies Squares – hopefully they are $1.67 for a bit longer. :) I still have to use my All Bran Bar coupons – all my Wal-Mart had left was the Orange Cranberry ones – YUCK! Tried the ones in the Holiday Box and I did not like them all.

Looks like I am having cereal for breakfast.
Happy Friday everyone!

Shoppers Drug Mart: FREE Tylenol & Cheap Clean & Clear Body Wash

I have been really wanting to try the new Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash since I first smelled it a couple months ago. I have had the coupons printed for a little while. Last week I heard of people getting it pretty cheap at London Drugs – they were stacking the printable with the tear pad (that I couldn’t find). I was slightly disappointed but figured another deal would come around and I didn’t have too wait long. :)

While we were in Shoppers Drug Mart last night (picking up the FREE Tylenol Ultra Relief) I found the blue Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash on clearance for $3.00! Paired up with the $2.50 printable coupon it made them an awesome deal (to me) at just $0.50 a bottle. It was only the blue kind – SPLASH Wildberry & Guava but it smells really good.

Will be trying the body wash in the morning as my Dove one just ran out. The Dove Visible Care Body Wash that I got here is alright – the smell is okay, but I think the Clean and Clear Morning Burst Body Wash will be much better. What I really hate about the Dove is the design of the bottle, getting the last bit (fair bit) out of the bottle has been a MAJOR pain. I shouldn’t have to work to get my body wash out of the bottle. Major design flaw in the bottle.

Walmart: Cheap Pantene, Garnier Fructis and Pillsbury

Found a fantastic deal on Pantene – thanks to a heads up on the forum. I saw someone saying they found some $2 Pantene products at Walmart so I headed to mine to check it out. I didn’t find the ones they found but I was lucky enough to find 3 different ones priced at $2 – the deal was even sweeter because they had $1.50 stickers on them – better yet, they were the larger bottles at 675ml! Score! Regular price on the bottles was $7.96!

London Drugs Shopping Trips – St. Ives, Prestige, Maybelline, Free Aveeno & More

Been to London Drugs twice this week. On Wednesday they had a one day only Leap Year sale – I went for the Prestige Eyeliner that was on for $2.99. I ended up getting the waterproof version for the extra 50 cents but found a couple other deals while I was there. I was able to stack the U by Kotex coupons for some more cheap feminine products. I haven’t stacked in a while with all the new rules but I checked with customer service before hand and they said they were fine

BTW – The Prestige Eyeliners are FANTASTIC – I have tried buying many other cheaper eyeliners and they just don’t compare. I have been waiting for these to go on sale. They are still on for $3.49 this week as well.

I was back at London Drugs this morning to get some of the $2.99 St. Ives lotion – I really love this stuff and have been waiting for it to go $2.99 again at Shoppers Drug Mart. Was happy to see it in the London Drugs flyer.

While I was there I noticed some more U by Kotex products on for $4.00… twice the size of the boxes I bought the other day for $3.99. Darn. I only had one stack left but was able to print a few more coupons and decided they were worth getting even without stacking. Wish I had of waited on my stacks though… all well, what do you do. I just can’t say no to these U by Kotex coupons and deals – I hope I never get another one of these coupons again – I should be well stocked for a while, more than awhile. If anyone is wondering the U by Kotex liners are awesome, the best I have ever tried but their tampons are terrible. Also decided to grab a box of O.B (they are awesome) for the free Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner – I keep missing the Living Well giveaways and really wanted to try it. I have already tried it – really like it.

Some good savings this week – but I really need to stay out of the feminine product isle – maybe I should just stay out of London Drugs.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Shoppers Drug Mart Deals – Revlon, Quo and Allude

I have made a few trips to Shoppers Drug Mart in the past few days and picked up some various deals along the way.

Trip #1
$0.50 Allude pantyhose, stockings and knee highs
$0.50 Allude pantyhose, stockings and knee highs
7 boxes – $3.92 after tax

Browsing around Shoppers Drug Mart the other day when I saw this HUGE table of various Allude pantyhose, stockings and knee highs – I really don’t wear them much. But it is something I never have when I want it and they are always so expensive and I normally only get one wear out of them. Damn finger nails. I picked up 7 boxes – some boxes had multiple pairs. Probably a tad too many, but I have a few friends I can donate too. I just couldn’t resist, even a half decent pair from the dollar store is $2.

Trips #2 and #3
Cheap Revlon beauty tools (nail clippers and tweezers) + Cheap compact mirrors

I also earned 1600 bonus points for this trip, for every 2 Revlon products you bought you got 800 bonus points. Also, in case anyone was wondering – the 30% sale at Shoppers Drug Mart was cheaper than Walmart. I checked! haha

I found 2 Quo Compact Mirrors in a $1.00 at Shoppers Drug Mart last night. For a while now I have been thinking how badly I need a mirror in my purse so I was super happy to find these.

Couponing: First Time Getting Cash Back from Overage

On Friday I went into the mall to get my free Bath and Body Works trial size item thanks to their Valentine’s Day coupon on Facebook. I picked one of the newer scents, Aruba Coconut – smells great. Man I love Bath and Body Works.

Mall freebies: Bath and Body Works Aruba Coconut Lotion and Revlon Nail Files

After getting my free lotion I headed into Walmart for a quick look around. I found some Revlon nail files for $1.77 – perfect to pair up with my $2.00 off Revlon Beauty Tools coupon I found at Shoppers Drug Mart last week. I grabbed 4. I really didn’t need anything else in Walmart so I thought I would see what happens with my overage. Well… THEY GAVE IT BACK TO ME AS CASH! It was only $0.07 but I couldn’t believe it. This is the first time I have been paid in cash back to use coupons. Super exciting.

First time getting paid to coupon

Since Friday was my first day wearing my FitBit I was actually just walking around the mall to get my steps up – it worked out well and I left with some freebies. In fact, I didn’t spend a penny and left with 7 more than I entered with. Awesome day.

So I keep reading on about all the great deals people are finding at their local Walmarts. All kinds of awesome stuff for $1. I keep checking our Walmart but find nothing. Our store actually has a big clearance area right now because the store is renovating but there is still nothing good – as least nothing good with a good price. I keep reading about all these $1 deals, like Gillette Fusion ProGlide blades (4 pack) for $1! WOW! I would love to find some of those, my fiancĂ© loves those…

Anyway, so while in Walmart again last night I tried looking for some of these deals. Here is highlight, and about the cheapest thing I found. An OPEN Burt Bee’s Lip Balm for $2… GROSS! sells them brand new for $4.50. Also, there was a pack of black and white photo paper specially made for my photo printer… I have been watching the clearance price of these SAME pack of photo paper for over two years. No that is not a typo… OVER TWO YEARS (and the packaging looks it). I was utterly shocked last night that I noticed the clearance price has INCREASED over $5. No joke. This lone pack of photo paper has sat in the same place in Walmart for over two years and the price has increased. I honestly wonder if it is even good anymore because it has the built in ink. From the looks of things I don’t think my Walmart will ever these great $1 clearance deals. Obviously our Walmart sucks.
