Been to London Drugs twice this week. On Wednesday they had a one day only Leap Year sale – I went for the Prestige Eyeliner that was on for $2.99. I ended up getting the waterproof version for the extra 50 cents but found a couple other deals while I was there. I was able to stack the U by Kotex coupons for some more cheap feminine products. I haven’t stacked in a while with all the new rules but I checked with customer service before hand and they said they were fine
BTW – The Prestige Eyeliners are FANTASTIC – I have tried buying many other cheaper eyeliners and they just don’t compare. I have been waiting for these to go on sale. They are still on for $3.49 this week as well.
2 x U by Kotex Thin Liners 60’s $3.99 – $1.50 printable & $1.50 insert = $0.99 each
2 x U by Kotex Regular Liners 50’s $3.99 – $1.50 printable & $1.50 insert = $0.99 each
3 x Prestige Waterproof Eyeliner $3.49 (regular $6.99) = $3.49 each
2 x Maybelline Expert Eyes Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover $2.99 (regular $6.99) = $2.99
Tax: $2.77 Total: $23.18
Saved $34.50 ($12.00 in coupons and $22.50 in sale prices) 60% Savings
I was back at London Drugs this morning to get some of the $2.99 St. Ives lotion – I really love this stuff and have been waiting for it to go $2.99 again at Shoppers Drug Mart. Was happy to see it in the London Drugs flyer.
While I was there I noticed some more U by Kotex products on for $4.00… twice the size of the boxes I bought the other day for $3.99. Darn. I only had one stack left but was able to print a few more coupons and decided they were worth getting even without stacking. Wish I had of waited on my stacks though… all well, what do you do. I just can’t say no to these U by Kotex coupons and deals – I hope I never get another one of these coupons again – I should be well stocked for a while, more than awhile. If anyone is wondering the U by Kotex liners are awesome, the best I have ever tried but their tampons are terrible. Also decided to grab a box of O.B (they are awesome) for the free Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner – I keep missing the Living Well giveaways and really wanted to try it. I have already tried it – really like it.
1 x U by Kotex Thin Liners 120’s $4.00 – $1.50 printable & $1.50 insert = $1.00
1 x U by Kotex Thin Liners 120’s $4.00 – $1.50 printable = $2.50
2 x U by Kotex Regular Liners 102’s $4.00 – $1.50 printable = $2.50 each
3 x St. Ives Lotion Hand & Body Lotion $2.99 – $1.00 tear pad coupon = $1.99 each
1 x O.B Tampons $2.99 = $2.99
1 x Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner $5.99 – FREE WUB O.B instore coupon = FREE
Tax. $2.03 Total: $19.49
Saved: $57.44 ($16.49 in coupons & $40.95 in sale prices) 75% Savings
Some good savings this week – but I really need to stay out of the feminine product isle – maybe I should just stay out of London Drugs.
Sad to see these stacks go. I figured I might as well use the last one up since they expire at the end of the month. I have a feeling our stacking days are numbered, might as well do it well I can! I normally use the Bath and Body Works body wash because I usually get a free when buying something else but this Aveeno body wash smelled amazing. Since most of my other Aveeno stacks were for someone else I thought I would treat myself.
Aveeno Invigorating Body Wash – Grapefruit and Rosemary
Paid: $5.66 - Saved: $10.00 - 64% Savings
I did this stack at Save on Foods using the same coupons I used at London Drugs the other day.
Found Aveeno Active Naturals Living Colour – Colour Preserving Shine Glaze on clearance at London Drugs and had enough coupons left to stack and make them free. A coupon fairy had also been there and left some tear pads for other people. I love seeing people do that but then I have to wonder why the person had enough coupons to start with to be able to leave a stack of coupons right before they expire. A sign that people are taking too many coupons. I noticed a few stacks of older coupons around the hair products.
2 x Aveeno Active Naturals Living Colour – Colour Preserving Shine Glaze $4.99 – $3.00 WUB2 tear pad & $3.00 WUB2 printable (no longer available) & $4 WUB2 printable = FREE
Finally Wal-Mart had the Tylenol Muscle Aches and Body Pain in stock – was able to use up my last two coupons. Earned $0.33 cents overage each. Also stacked $8.00 in Finish coupons in Save On Foods to get some very cheap – $0.49 before tax Finish Quantum Powerballs. 20 count.
Paid $0.85 (counting overage towards finish) - Saved: $16.00
Was in Save on Foods tonight and got super excited when I saw some Olay Body Wash priced at $2.99 – I figured it was perfect to use my $2.00 coupon from P&G. I grabbed two of them – great stocking stuffers, but when I got to the till they rang is as $3.99. After checking the price they let me SCOP (scanning code of practice = FREE) one and buy the second at $2.99. But they wouldn’t let me use the coupon – the wording on the coupon says “Save $2.00 when you buy any Olay hand and body product” so they told me I had to buy two products a body product and a hand product – wouldn’t the coupon say productS or when you buy 2 then? So confused on this still, I think I should of been able to use it for ONE body wash. Does anyone have any idea on this?
The lady was great – she even was the one to suggest SCOP – and it was tagged wrong so I can’t go back and try my coupon again. But I did get one FREE and another cheap Scrubbing Bubbles 1 Step Toilet Kit. Actually got one of these hooked up a couple weeks ago and I like it! So far my toilet seems nice and clean. I have never had a cashier suggest SCOP to me before, I always have to ask for it and in this case of might of *gasp* forgot!
Save on Foods Olay Toning Body Wash $3.99 (priced wrong at $2.99) = FREE (because of the Scanning Code of Practice)
Scrubbing Bubbles 1 Step Toilet Kit $8.49 – $5.00 from insert & $3.00 from rightathome.ca (no longer available) = $0.49
I also went over to Shoppers Drug Mart and got a price check on Tylenol Back Pain 40 count – I heard it was on sale for $14.99 but not tagged and that was correct – regular $20.99 – but there is currently a $10 coupon on Living Well!
When I saw this weeks London Drugs flyer with both Sunlight and Green Works on sale I knew I had to go there on Friday and pick some up. Okay, so I REALLY didn’t need laundry soap but I had some coupon stacks to use and I hoping to win more. Out of the 4 bottles I bought I won two FREE Sunlight laundry soap – and the other 2 (and the two I bought before) “won” $8.00 off Disney Lion King on blu ray – a little depressing that I won that 4 times – really Sunlight? The thing is, it is not really a win – Disney emailed me this coupon when it was released, the expiry date was not as long but still.
4 x Sunlight Laundry Soap $4.99 – 4 x $1.50 insert coupon & 4 x $1.00 printable coupon (no longer available) = $2.49 each
3 x Green Works Toilet Cleaner 2 @ $2.50 and 1 @ $2.69 – $3.00 WUB3 & $1.00 printable = 2 @ $0.50 & 1 @ $0.69
1 x Finish Quantum Tabs 20 count $7.99 – $7.00 in various Smart Source insert coupons = $0.99
Really with the 4 bottles I bought for $9.96 (before tax), I won 2 – making them $1.66 (before tax) a bottle – assuming I get my FPC’s in the mail at some point. :)
I was hoping the finish would go on sale before the end of the month but with it being Christmas I don’t have time to keep paying attention and checking. I do have another stack to use but London Drugs only have on in stock so I will have to go back anyway.
Got some pretty good shopping trips in this weekend. Went into Shoppers Drug Mart to get a couple things and use some coupons. Both things I went in for had the sale tags on the wrong items. Whoever did the pricing must of been half asleep! Not that I am complaining, I got even better deals!
SDM had Duracell Mini Recharges on sale for $6.88 and I had a $5 coupon from P&G – but when we I went to get them they had put the sale on tag on the regular charger that recharges 4 batteries at a time! SCORE, I no longer need to use two outlets to charge my keyboard batteries – even better, they came with 4 batteries for $1.88 plus tax! The ones in the charger are the black tops – the white tops are better, but I don’t care for the price. So excited, I was even able to get two! I also went to pick up some of the OB tampons for $1.99 and they had marked the 40 boxes for $1.99 – it was supposed to be the 18’s. I bought two but couldn’t use my coupon because they were on sale (coupon says regular price). Price was still awesome. Maybe I should of got more then 2 boxes…
I was really impressed with Shoppers Drug Mart for honouring their errors. They did have to confirm the stickers on the products and they did admit their error – because they tagged the wrong items I could not SCOP (scanning code of practice), but I could have it for the price listed. They also removed the tags from the shelves after me. I don’t know if they had to honour the price errors but they did and it make it super happy – even if I had to wait a bit. :)
Paid $20.22 after tax - Saved $117.13

While I was in Save on Foods I also found Aylmer Accents Tomatoes on sale for $1.00 each (not in photo or price count) – was happy to see those, I didn’t have any coupons but I always miss out when Wal-Mart has them on for $1.00 – they always sell out right away. I also got buy one get one free frozen ribs! Was a good day and looking forward to making a nice dinner.
These is similar to the trip I made the other day – a good friend of mine gave me some of her extra Kraft coupons from the What’s Cooking Magazine from the Kraft Samplicious Box. Since they expire tomorrow I thought I better hurry and use them. I combined them again with the save $5 WUB 5 from Save on Foods (I bought 10 Kraft Products and used two of these).
I didn’t have coupons for everything *gasp* but I thought they were decent prices anyway. We are very well stocked for Christmas now, guess I better hurry and start inviting people over to eat it all!
All the coupons I used came in the Kraft box – other then the Save $5 when you buy 5 – Save on Foods had those in store.

I thought I was out of Scrubbing Bubble stacks but I found one when cleaning up my coupons AND Save on Foods had more in stock! Woot!
I felt kind of bad, I did hold up the line and they only had one cashier open. I thought going at almost 9pm would be a safe bet but I guess not. They did end up opening another till but I could tell people were getting frustrated and I felt bad. :(
Getting food feels really good, I love getting cheap hair and body products but they is just something extra awesome about food – even if it is just a ton of crackers lol.
