London Drugs Shopping Trips – St. Ives, Prestige, Maybelline, Free Aveeno & More

Been to London Drugs twice this week. On Wednesday they had a one day only Leap Year sale – I went for the Prestige Eyeliner that was on for $2.99. I ended up getting the waterproof version for the extra 50 cents but found a couple other deals while I was there. I was able to stack the U by Kotex coupons for some more cheap feminine products. I haven’t stacked in a while with all the new rules but I checked with customer service before hand and they said they were fine

BTW – The Prestige Eyeliners are FANTASTIC – I have tried buying many other cheaper eyeliners and they just don’t compare. I have been waiting for these to go on sale. They are still on for $3.49 this week as well.

I was back at London Drugs this morning to get some of the $2.99 St. Ives lotion – I really love this stuff and have been waiting for it to go $2.99 again at Shoppers Drug Mart. Was happy to see it in the London Drugs flyer.

While I was there I noticed some more U by Kotex products on for $4.00… twice the size of the boxes I bought the other day for $3.99. Darn. I only had one stack left but was able to print a few more coupons and decided they were worth getting even without stacking. Wish I had of waited on my stacks though… all well, what do you do. I just can’t say no to these U by Kotex coupons and deals – I hope I never get another one of these coupons again – I should be well stocked for a while, more than awhile. If anyone is wondering the U by Kotex liners are awesome, the best I have ever tried but their tampons are terrible. Also decided to grab a box of O.B (they are awesome) for the free Aveeno Essential Moisture Lip Conditioner – I keep missing the Living Well giveaways and really wanted to try it. I have already tried it – really like it.

Some good savings this week – but I really need to stay out of the feminine product isle – maybe I should just stay out of London Drugs.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Free Bacon, Lean Cusine and Alberto Hair Product. Cheap Shavers and Razor Blades.

Spent way more today than I had planned on; that is the problem with couponing. You seem to have to spend money to save money. When there is a good deal you jump on it and buy enough to last you a while. Yes you save money in the long run but you spend more at the given moment then you intended. If that makes sense.

Take today for example – I decided to go into Superstore to see if there were any good clearance items and there was. I spent $30 on razor blades that we don’t need right now but will need in the future – but I saved $30. Razor blades don’t go bad and you always need them and they rarely go on a good sale – it is an easy one to justify but expensive. Least I controlled myself and only bought 3 boxes, there were many more there that I could of brought home. :)

I figure around $1.00 a blade is an awesome price for good 4 blade razor blade; these were $1.15 each. 3 boxes should last us almost two years – hence why I didn’t buy more. Hopefully there is another good sale before then.

FREE Aveeno Active Naturals Living Colour – Colour Preserving Shine Glaze

Found Aveeno Active Naturals Living Colour – Colour Preserving Shine Glaze on clearance at London Drugs and had enough coupons left to stack and make them free. A coupon fairy had also been there and left some tear pads for other people. I love seeing people do that but then I have to wonder why the person had enough coupons to start with to be able to leave a stack of coupons right before they expire. A sign that people are taking too many coupons. I noticed a few stacks of older coupons around the hair products.

Free Neutrogena & Listerine – Cheap O.B., Multibionta & L’Oréal

Went back to London Drugs to get more cheap O.B. tampons and free Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Soothing Wrap Body Lotion – unfortunately you weren’t supposed to be able to stack coupons according to the wording on the in store London Drugs coupons for the Neutrogena. Oops. The cashier pointed it out today – guess I need to read the coupons a little closer. So I did one and one, found a 20 pack of tampons in there today for the $2.99 price.

FREE Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Soothing Wrap Body Lotion For Buying Cheap O.B. Tampons

Can I just say I REALLY REALLY love London Drugs. The staff there is so amazing and friendly and helpful and the deals – WOW. Wish I had of started shopping there years ago… also wish I had of started couponing sooner – but don’t we all. Super excited for today’s sore – the toilet paper was whatever, I only have two rolls left and don’t want to run out. Gonna try and get some at Shoppers Drug Mart on their Sunday/Monday deals. Anyway on to today.

I couldn’t find the right free gift with purchase. The coupon for the FREE Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Soothing Wrap Body Lotion was in front of the wrong-but-almost the same product so I made the mistake at first of trying to buy it. Everyone was really nice in helping me find the right product – turns out it was at the customer service desk because it is not something they keep in stock! phew, I thought maybe they had run out already. Anyway they found it for me. What a deal on it’s own, buy $2.99 tampons and get a free $10 body lotion? To top it off I had a $2.00 off coupon for the O.B. making them $0.99! The lotions are perfect for my Mom and Grandma’s stocking!

$0.99 Febreze Luminary Home Collection Products

Thanks to a tip on another website I stopped by London Drugs last night and picked up some Febreze Luminary Home Collection products using the $4.00 off Febreze Home Collection coupon from P&G mail out and inserts. Thought these would make good socking stuffers.

Almost Free Gillette, Glade, Advil, Covergirl & Free Tylenol

This is a couple days worth of trips combined into one post. Really excited for finding the Gillette Body wash for $2.50! I have been watching for a sale and almost missed the one at Save on Foods, thankfully I caught it last night on the last day of the sale. I just happened to be walking down the isle and the sign caught my eye – phew! Men’s body wash is one of the things I haven’t really bought much of yet and we go through a fair bit in my house. With my $2.00 off from Brandsaver they were only 50 cents each before tax! SCORE! Wish I had more of these coupons…

The other day when I was in Shoppers Drug Mart there was some on a clearance table with a $2.29 sticker, I was so excited but when I got up to the till they were $4.99 – was a bit disappointed but this made up for it.

London Drugs currently has some of the Covergirl products on sale for $5.99 – perfect time to use my $4.00 that just came in the mail this week!

Coupon Stacking at London Drugs: Cheap Sunlight, Finish and Green Works

When I saw this weeks London Drugs flyer with both Sunlight and Green Works on sale I knew I had to go there on Friday and pick some up. Okay, so I REALLY didn’t need laundry soap but I had some coupon stacks to use and I hoping to win more. Out of the 4 bottles I bought I won two FREE Sunlight laundry soap – and the other 2 (and the two I bought before) “won” $8.00 off Disney Lion King on blu ray – a little depressing that I won that 4 times – really Sunlight? The thing is, it is not really a win – Disney emailed me this coupon when it was released, the expiry date was not as long but still.

Coupon Stacking at London Drugs: Cheap Sunlight, Finish and Green Works

4 x Sunlight Laundry Soap $4.99 – 4 x $1.50 insert coupon & 4 x $1.00 printable coupon (no longer available) = $2.49 each
3 x Green Works Toilet Cleaner 2 @ $2.50 and 1 @ $2.69 – $3.00 WUB3 & $1.00 printable = 2 @ $0.50 & 1 @ $0.69

Subtotal: $12.64

Really with the 4 bottles I bought for $9.96 (before tax), I won 2 – making them $1.66 (before tax) a bottle – assuming I get my FPC’s in the mail at some point. :)

I was hoping the finish would go on sale before the end of the month but with it being Christmas I don’t have time to keep paying attention and checking. I do have another stack to use but London Drugs only have on in stock so I will have to go back anyway.
